The Junkee Takeaway

The Junkee Takeaway is a daily video news series produced by Junkee, commissioned as part of Facebook’s News In Watch programme. I developed the concept and pitched it to Facebook, and the show launched in 2019. Later that year it was recommissioned for a second season, and in 2021 it was recommissioned until 2024.

During my time as the Executive Producer of the show I oversaw the production of over 500 episodes - with a small but mighty team of producers and video editors - amassing over 50 million views.
